Essential Information Regarding Delivery Timescales and Policies

Mainland United Kingdom destinations

Order up to £50 - £5.95 + VAT

Orders between over £50 but below £100 - £7.95 + VAT 

Orders over £100 - £9.95 + VAT

Orders containing large or bulky items marked with the lorry symbol is seen on the right will incur an additional charge of £35 + VAT per item

Orders going to the following UK destinations will occur additional charges.

The above charges are for a 3-5 working day delivery service for in-stock items, as of January 1st 2023.

Non-mainland United Kingdom destinations

Charges for delivery to non-mainland UK destinations will reflect the actual cost involved. Older Adults will contact you prior to processing your order, should the actual cost of delivery exceed that shown on the order confirmation e-mail.

Delivery outside the United Kingdom

Charges for delivery outside the UK will reflect the actual cost involved.

You will be liable to pay any taxes or duties that are applied when the goods are imported into your country.

Delivery of large and/or heavy items

The majority of our items are delivered by courier. The driver will only be able to deliver to your door, under most circumstances the driver will not be able to enter the premises.

If you have ordered a bulky and or heavy item you may wish to consider the need for additional help, Lifting bulky and or heavy items incorrectly may cause injury and or cause added problems to any conditions that may already be present.

If you are unable to arrange for someone to assist you, we can offer an enhanced delivery service. This service means additional delivery personnel will be dispatched to help bring your items into your premises. There is a charge associated with this service and you should call 01246 211 777 or email [email protected] for a quote.

Delivery dates quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Older Adults shall not be liable for any delay in delivery or any consequence thereof.

If you have received an incorrect, faulty or damaged product, please contact us on 01246 211777. Damaged products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt and missing items within 7 days from the date on your invoice.

Important Delivery Guidance for Customers

  • Check the packaging carefully upon delivery. If you notice any damage to the packaging, please ask the delivery driver to wait while you inspect the contents.
  • If the driver refuses to wait, you may refuse the delivery and contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
  • If you choose to accept the delivery despite damaged packaging, please photograph the damage before opening the package and make a note of any damage on the delivery paperwork or the driver’s electronic device (if applicable).
  • Please note that once the goods are signed for, responsibility for any damage transfers to the customer, so it’s essential to report any issues at the time of delivery.
  • We cannot accept liability for any damage reported after the goods have been signed for, unless clear evidence is provided that it occurred during transit ( i.e the photographic evidence)
  • Keep all packaging as the courier may need to inspect it if there’s a claim.
  • Make sure someone is available to accept the delivery to avoid missed deliveries or packages left unattended.
